Freshers v Leavers Game
Sun 27th Apr 2008
by JSS
in General news
The showpiece game of the term, Freshers versus Leavers, will take place this Tuesday (29th April) in replacement of training.
Please be at Tarkett at 18:00 so we can start at 18:30.
Lee Harverson will be captain of the Leavers, and so get in contact with him to shotgun a starting place.
For the Fresh, I thought Rob Price and Louis Law could do the job as skippers, and so could you get in contact with them.
I must tell you that post-grad students, ie. the likes of Ovington and Luke Baker, will, as I''m told by Lee, play for the Leavers side.
Leavers please wear BLUE training kit, or similar.
Freshers please wear RED training kit, or similar
Second years and others not involved, come down to watch. This is a game you wont want to miss!
If you have any queries please dont hesitate to call me on 07814604391.
Thanks, JSS xxx
The Coming Weeks

Gentlemen,
Just a few things that need addressing over the coming weeks:
Firstly, for those of you who ran the half-marathon for Myeloma, could you please give in your sponsorship money to Chris Hansen please as soon as possible so our sizeable donation can be made.
Secondly, for those of you who still have Red Balls, please try and sell them and return the money either to myself or Harvs as we are trying to really push this initiative this term.
As of today (Friday), Sports Fed tickets are available and so please purchase yours as soon as you can. This is a fantastic event, and with the added incentive of Hunter from Gladiators there, I''m sure it will quickly sell-out!
The Naked Calendar "photoshoot" is vast approaching and we are still in need of a few more ''bodies''. The photo will be taken this Wednesday at 16:00, so please let me know if you would like to get involved.
Training will take place as it was this week, starting at 18:00, until further notice.
Last but not least, circle this week will go ahead even though it is Chelsea v Liverpool. It is handover circle, and so please bring something to be tied to somebody with. Attendance is expected from all the exec. It is one of the best circles so I look forward to seeing you all there.
Thank you for your time

Boys, you may or may not know that last night Quicksilver beat 5 other contenders to be elected Sports Officer for the next year.
This is a massive achievement, and all his hard work paid off. Well done Terry.
